As experienced Data Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education and IT sector for many years, I executed research and projects using Machine Learning models for performing supervised and unsupervised statistical techniques such as regression, clustering and dimensionality reduction. I am skilled in feature extraction and data manipulation with Python libraries and frameworks like NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, and Matplotlib for business intelligence problems. I developed ML models using Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, SVM, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Adaboost, XGBoost, Naive Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and K-Means clustering for real-life parametric and non-parametric data. I also used Gradient Descent and Deep Learning algorithms to train and test huge data sets. I developed my skills in NLP using BERT and other transformer models from Hugging Face and other open source libraries for state-of-the-art solutions to complex problems. I managed to deploy my models on the AWS-EC2 cloud environment and have a sound knowledge about Dockerization. I am proficient in low-level and high-level programming languages as well as scripting languages. I am fully competitive in working collaboratively with international groups from diverse cultures where I managed to lead small (scrum) and large organizational groups in different countries.
